We have identified 17 "at risk" locations where appropriate measures will reduce that risk. The project is being split over 7 phases: phases 1,2 and 7 will be delivered in-house; phases 3-6 involve larger measures which will require some external design work and an external contractor(s) for all construction work. These phases are made up of the following measures: Phase 3 - Retrofit SuDS basins ranging from 50m3 to 300m3. Phase 4 - North East Catchment SuDS measures including permeable paving, raingardens, bunds and nature-based solutions, grouped for proximity. Phase 5 - Large SuDS basins and Nature Based Solutions ### Phase 6 - Permeable paving and underground tanks NCC will be asking interested providers around September 2026 to tender for a design and build contract for Phases 3-6 of the project. Phases 4 and 5 will be designed in-house at NCC; Phases 3 and 6 will require an external consultant. Landscape design will also be undertaken in-house at NCC.
