Peterborough City Council has an ambition to establish a fully independent Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO) in Peterborough to support people recovering from drug and alcohol use. A lived experience recovery organisation (LERO) is an organisation led by people with lived experience of drug and alcohol recovery. LEROs deliver a wide range of harm reduction interventions, peer support and recovery support services and they can help people to access and engage in treatment and other support services.
