Thus, the total duration of the contract awarded was 10 years. This service was commissioned by Sandwell & West Birmingham CCG with the current provider being Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust. The first part of the contract, that is 7-year term, is due to reach to the end on 31st March 2026, and the provider has offered to use the 3 year extension clause in the contract. The BSol ICB PCCPB reviewed the extension and accepted the provider to continue through the rest of the contract from 1st April 2026.
