The training is aimed at senior managers in councils to further develop their understanding of this field and to enable them to progress anti-racism policies and practices in a supportive and inclusive environment. The WLGA recognises that council leadership plays a critical strategic role in setting the culture and tone of the organisation and providing demonstrative commitment to drive systemic change and promote anti-racism practices throughout local government.
