NHSBT is responsible for collecting and producing Plasma for Medicine (PfM) for fractionation into plasma‑derived medicinal products for UK patients and is seeking to expand its current plasmapheresis capacity beyond its existing three donor centres. NHSBT requires access to plasmapheresis technology-including equipment, consumables, harnesses, and all supporting items-along with reliable maintenance, repair, technical support, and service continuity provisions. The purpose of this early engagement is to gather supplier insight on viable commercial approaches and routes to market.
