The need for a national strategy and best practice guidance is a current focus for the Government, and that will unfold during the duration of this contract for a service to support young people at risk of criminal exploitation. Within the borough of Telford & Wrekin, the Community Safety Partnership creates a multi-functional team to tackle local issues - including Child Criminal exploitation. This collaboration between agencies working with children is essential for ensuring children receive the best safeguarding and support to promote their wellbeing.
