It is to be noted that stock for these services is mainly provided by Swindon Borough Council. The only materials the Council does not provide is the jointing materials as these are part of the contractor costs for a service transfer, disconnection or new service connection. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with the ability to extend for a further period of 1 x 24 months. This is to ensure that we attract sufficient interest from the market. The estimated contract value is indicative only with no guarantee of the amount of work to be called off under this contract. Estimated contract spend is between £901,254 across the initial 3-year term and up to £1,502,090 across the full 5-year term.
