The contract will also include a schedule of labour rates and material on costs etc for the supply & installation, repair works, upgrades of high-level lighting systems and associated parts and accessories. The duration of the contract will be for one year with the option to extend to a further three years following contract evaluation (on a year-by-year basis). The extension will only be granted on satisfactory performance by the contractor and the discretion of the BCC maintenance unit and BCC compliance unit, this will be done through KPI analysis. The Contractor must ensure that at the time of tender to have visited the sites, if required, to conduct a site survey to ascertain the condition of the existing systems as no claims on the want of knowledge shall be considered.
