The proposed framework will support the delivery of planned, reactive, and minor works relating to the installation, removal, surfacing, and reinstatement of proprietary crossing systems and RRAPs in accordance with manufacturer and Network Rail standards. This includes the provision of associated surface dressings, white lining, and minor civils reinstatement works. The purpose of this engagement is to: Understand current market capability, capacity, and interest. Seek feedback on the framework structure, lotting strategy, and commercial approach. Identify potential risks, challenges, and innovations that could improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Support the design of a fair and inclusive Competitive Flexible Procedure. It is currently envisaged that the framework will be divided into regional lots, covering: - Lot 1 Western Route - Lot 2 South Wales - Lot 3 North Wales The anticipated scope will include works undertaken under planned possession and blockade arrangements, as well as reactive maintenance and minor project delivery. Network Rail anticipates the new framework will commence in April 2026. The estimated total value is approximately £15.6 million over a term of four years (2026–2030).
