The service will provide a Step down and/or admissions avoidance in the form of accommodation-based crisis intervention. The provision will be situated in self-contained facilities including bedroom/en-suite. It provides support and overnight accommodation as a planned, safe and sustainable discharge and/or accommodation-based crisis support as an alternative to inpatient services. The service provides meals for those requiring them, bedding, toiletries and emergency clothing. The service can/will store and administer prescribed medications for those who are at risk of non-compliance or overdose.
