The Council particularly welcomes proposals from progressive and suitably experienced organisations to deliver this two-year contract designed to build the sector's capacity, boost productivity, and ensure long-term sustainability. Newham's VCFS is one of the most vibrant and diverse in London, encompassing a wide range of organisations from well-established institutions to grassroots, volunteer-led groups and faith-based initiatives. The aim of this contract is to cultivate a sustainable, confident and resourceful VCFS-one that is equipped to meet the evolving needs and aspirations of both the sector and the borough. This includes: - Strengthening collaboration and shared learning; - Enhancing infrastructure and access to resources; - Supporting the delivery of trusted, culturally competent, and place-based services that improve outcomes for Newham residents.
