The primary purpose of the accommodation is to provide an alternative to rough sleeping for people at risk of or already doing so. We are currently testing the market for: Option 1: Organisations with: - Premises, that they currently own, and which are suitable for use for the hostel provision within the B&NES area; or - Premises suitable for the hostel provision, that they can acquire through leasing/partnership agreement within the B&NES area; or - A site that can be developed into hostel premises within the B&NES area, by the supplier organisation. Option 2: Organisations that could: - Source a site/building within the B&NES area and, in partnership with the council, develop a hostel to meet current and future needs of homeless population. - In the event that the council is able to secure a suitable site, work in partnership to develop and deliver a hostel to meet current and future needs of homeless population.
