It is the Authority’s intension for the bridge to be open for public access on the 1st September 2025 for pupil access / egress. - Removal of the existing 6mm thick checker deck plate and replace with new plates as per the existing arrangement. - For Option 2 Only, the Client wishes for the contractor to propose a suitable polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) bearing insert to be included between the top and bottom of the free end bearings.
