This initiative will replace an existing contract, which currently provides a service characterised by delivery frequency, speed, and flexibility that cannot be matched by any other operation within the NHSE structure. The objective of this case is to establish a supply chain, delivery, and deployment solution applicable to all vaccination and screening programmes within the NHSE portfolio. This will be achieved by enhancing capacity, capability, operational effectiveness and efficiency, to reach destinations with a frequency aligned with their demand, thus offering a unique service proposition that benefits NHS, providers and systems more broadly, ensuring value for money, and leverage economies of scale through the multi-vaccine delivery on a single vehicle.
