We anticipate appointing to a multi-provider framework with lead providers operating within designated geographic areas of Salford, with alternative providers available within each area to support resilience and choice. Development work has commenced, but it will be necessary to directly award contracts to incumbent providers (currently expiring 30/06/2025) to ensure continuity of services while the framework is established. These 'interim' contracts will replicate current arrangements insofar as they will hold no guarantee of business, only affording the incumbent providers first refusal of referrals within their designated geographic area.
