Upon opening of the new venue from January 2027, the existing Castle Swimming Pools building will then close, ready for demolition. The Council intend to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified demolition contractor to safely and appropriately deal with the demolition of the old pool building including clearance and levelling of the associated site area. This pre-market-engagement stage is intended to support and inform the future tender process, for these demolition works. The Council is initially seeking feedback from suitably experienced and qualified demolition contractors to: - Use their knowledge and experience to suggest how the project can best achieve its objectives. - Provide indicative estimate pricing to help the Council understand the cost threshold of these works, guiding the eventual procurement tender process. ## CPV classification Building demolition and wrecking work and earthmoving work Demolition, site preparation and clearance work Demolition work Source Find a Tender (UK) · Notice ocds-h6vhtk-05133e-2025-05-14T14:28:25+01:00 [View official notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/ocds-h6vhtk-05133e-2025-05-14T14:28:25+01:00) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
