The contract covers the outsourcing of the forensic analysis of digital devices and also cell site analysis. The current contracts (a number of suppliers are used) are call off contracts using a framework managed by the National Crime Agency (NCA). It is anticipated that the NCA will retender this framework with GMP as a named organisation able to call-off from the awarded framework. It is currently expected that GMP will complete call-off contracts in accordance with the framework guidance. It should be noted that any tender/business opportunities for Greater Manchester Police are advertised on our 'Bluelight' Emergency Services eTendering system, Sell2Bluelight, which is also used by other Bluelight organisations. Suppliers should not assume that this will be the platform for any tender conducted by NCA.
