The service is delivered through nine satellite dialysis units, 7 within Acute Trust Hospital sites and two in community-based centres. A recent review conducted in 2024/25 demonstrates The units are geographically well-placed based on patient cohort analysis. All units are directly managed by the Trust, employing clinical and support staff and overseeing the entire clinical pathway. Seven of the nine units are rented from other organizations, which provide maintenance services. Some leases are nearing their end, and several units operate in suboptimal environments that need addressing within the next 1-3 years.
