Sandwell Council has benefitted from grant funding from the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to refurbish the existing tennis courts at: - Redhouse Park (5 courts) - Britannia Park (2 Courts) - Brunswick Park (4 courts) The works have included re-surfacing, re-lining, fencing repairs, new nets and the installation of remote access gates / keypads. As part of the LTA grant funding and subsequent Cabinet approval, the Council is seeking to adopt a new approach to the operation and usage of these courts. This will allow a specialist community tennis operator to take commercial bookings and implement a coaching programme suitable for and in line local community needs.
