In order to achieve this aim, the service will need to raise the levels of awareness and skills of our education colleagues in recognising and supporting speech, language and communication needs and families/carers will need to be confident that their children will have their needs met in their local setting. The service will provide information, training, advice and support to educational settings, families and other professionals.
