Diamond allows researchers from academia and industry to investigate the structure and behaviour of the world around us at the atomic and molecular level. To continue delivering the world changing science that Diamond enables, the facility is being upgraded to Diamond-II, a coordinated programme of development that combines a major machine upgrade with new instruments and complementary improvements to optics, detectors, sample environment and delivery capabilities, and computing, as well as integrated and correlative methods. This will be transformative in speed and spatial resolution and will offer users streamlined access to enhanced instruments for life and physical sciences. The scope of the contract is to manufacture 756 magnet base plates to DLS designs. There are 10 different designs of the base plates. The base plates will be assembled to various electromagnets and then onto 52 girder assemblies by DLS. ## CPV classification Miscellaneous fabricated products and related items Source Find a Tender (UK) · Notice ocds-h6vhtk-04ece8-2025-06-10T13:17:49+01:00 [View official notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/ocds-h6vhtk-04ece8-2025-06-10T13:17:49+01:00) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
