Given the strong link between substance misuse and poor health and criminal activity, this data contributes to delivery of the Health and Safer Streets missions as it enables the monitoring of drug treatment capacity, improvements in the quality of provision and underpins wider performance monitoring by providing timely and accessible data. This contract requires the supplier to produce analysis and statistical information to support local commissioning of drug and alcohol treatment using data from NDTMS. This includes independent production of national and official statistics publications and supporting data, independent verification of responses to FOI and PQ requests, and research publications requiring academic expertise.
