The system provides invaluable information for clinicians in the monitoring and planning of patient's cancer treatment. Varian Medical Systems provide 24/7 maintenance and support for the RISOH system. If this system is not supported and maintained there would be a significant risk to patients' welfare and no electronic method of recording the patient's cancer journey. Business Services Organisation previously direct awarded £624,777 to Varian for for RISOH Support and maintenance. It is our intention to complete a further Direct Award to the value of £550,000. We wish to enter into a Contract until 31st March 2029. It is expected that there will a replacement system in place by the 31st March 2029.
