The MRC intends to engage with potential contractors through a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) event and subsequent PME activities. The publication of this early engagement opportunity is a voluntary publication and does not represent a commitment by the MRC to initiate, run, or complete a full procurement competition in relation to a contract for the works described. The MRC supports world-leading medical research efforts across the biomedical spectrum, from fundamental lab-based science to clinical trials, and in all major disease areas. The MRC has embarked on a transformational journey of its estates with the aim of establishing world-leading scientific research centres, and achieve a carbon-neutral status by 2040.
