Potential suppliers will be required to work alongside NHS Scotland National Diabetes Team to deliver the Digital Diabetes Prevention Programme. The programme will seek to provide a proven clinical intervention using digital technology that will provide support over a 9-month period, using trained lifestyle coaches to enable participants to track progress against the Type 2 Diabetes precursor condition called NDH (non-diabetic hyperglycaemia or prediabetes), which is diagnosed by HbA1c blood test (42-47mmol/mol). The issuing of this PIN will enable dialogue with interested suppliers, which, prior to any procurement exercise, may result in engagement sessions taking place.
