The Council is conducting the procurement using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation in accordance with Regulation 29 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. With reference to the estimated total value of the procurement in Section II.1.5, the Council has included an indicative figure which is based on a potential contract period of 24 months with the new electric cremators being installed and fully operational by December 2025. Please see the procurement documents for further information. The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal [procontract.due-north.com](https://procontract.due-north.com) to conduct this procurement exercise. To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents.
