The procurement will evaluate tenders based on the specification for a scenario deployment for the East West Rail Line (Bicester to Bletchley), with the possibility to extend the network to further locations during the term. The network will underpin a wide array of applications, from providing passenger Wi-Fi and Point of Sale applications, rail operations, real-time information services to support the technological needs of the rail line, and smart agricultural applications for trackside neighbours.
