This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is being issued by the Home Office (the Authority) to notify the market of a Market Engagement Event seeking views and feedback in relation to the potential procurement of an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) application to support the UKs National ANPR Service (NAS). This PIN does not formally signify the beginning of any procurement exercise by the Authority, nor does it constitute a commitment by the Authority to undertake a procurement, however in the event that the Authority decides to formally commence a procurement pursuant to this PIN then a separate Tender Notice will be published. It is envisaged that if a procurement does take place, it will do so under the Procurement Act 2023. Accordingly the Authority will be holding a hybrid In person/ Online Market Engagement event on Friday 17th January between 2pm and 4pm. Potential Suppliers who wish to attend this event must download and execute the NDA available at [techuk.org](https://www.techuk.org/what-we-deliver/events/home-office-national-anpr-capability-preliminary-market-engagement.html) and return it to The e-mail must include the name and address of the organisation, full name of up to a maximum of two designated attendees, their position in the organisation, email and telephone contact details. Please note that attendance shall be: - Strictly limited to two representatives per organisation - Subject to the agreement and full execution of the Home Office NDA - For those wishing to attend in person, allocated on a first come first served basis (due to room capacity, although online attendance will still be available). The deadline for registration of interest to attend shall be 12 noon on the 16th January and the Home Office reserves the right to determine at its discretion if any registrations submitted after this time shall be accepted.
