The Weston CDC will deliver additional, digitally connected, diagnostic capacity providing appropriate patients with a coordinated set of diagnostic tests in the community, in as few visits as possible, enabling an accurate and fast diagnosis on a range of a clinical pathways. The modalities operated from the Weston CDC will be as follows, for UHBW patients (unless stated otherwise): - MRI - CT - Dexa - Plain Film X-Ray - Non-Obstetric Ultrasound ("NOUS") - Transthoracic Echocardiogram ("TTE", "Echo") - Endoscopy (also University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHSFT ("UHBW") and Primary Care patients are seen at North Bristol CDC) - Respiratory Physiology The Commissioner is directly awarding, following direct award process A, a contract to University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust in accordance with the criteria outlined in Regulation (9) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
