The service will provide advice, support and guidance as well as offering an online digital service. The initial contract term is five years with an option to extend for a further two years (5+2). The contract start date is 1 April 2025. Buckinghamshire Council is seeking to commission an adults (including Young Adults 18-25yrs) carers support service with a digital provision; offering information, advice, guidance, and ongoing support tailored to Buckinghamshire residents that enables them to maintain their caring roles. The new service will embed the responsibility for the identification of carers in Buckinghamshire throughout the community, education and the health and social care ecosystem. This will be achieved through robust and collaborative partnership working with statutory, voluntary and social enterprise partners as well as primary and education settings.
