The property has been modified in such a way that it is able to accommodate children with complex medical needs, including those who are wheelchair users. The council now has a requirement to place two young people in this home, due to the specialist equipment and skills/expertise needed to meet their medical requirements and the need to place them together as siblings. Our research has concluded that there are no other suitable providers in the local area that can fully meet the needs of these two young people.
