To help provide coherence and scalability across defence, this Business Case seeks to place a new contract with headroom (non-committed) value of £2M to test cases through FY24/25. Use of Regulation 16 under the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011. The Justification is founded on the following grounds: - DSPCR 2011 Regulation 16 (1) (a) (iv) - Research & Development: for purchases or hiring goods for research, experiment or development. As per regulation 16(1)(d)(ii) of The Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 - the Authority may request for an extension of this agreement for the services provided under the original contract.
