Leeds OASIS will have sleeping facilities for up to 6 people and the potential to support a further 4 people who are in Crisis, but may need to remain in their own home for caring responsibilities. Leeds OASIS will provide short term emotional and practical support for people who are assessed by the Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS) or Older Peoples Intensive Home treatment Team (IHTT) as needing additional support to avoid admission to hospital. The house will deliver person centred support in a safe, comfortable environment without the often stigmatising effects and restrictions of a hospital admission.
