A new contract is required to be in place for commencement on 18th December 2024 to ensure service continuity, whereby KCC take title of all material to meet the statutory obligations of the Waste Disposal Authority. The Concessions Contract will involve the collection, sorting, storage, transporting, processing, recycling reuse, recovery and resale of all Textiles obtained from all 19 of KCC’s HWRCs. Organisations which ‘Register an interest’ in this opportunity will be invited to complete a ‘Market Engagement Questionnaire’, which will be immediately accessible via the Kent Business Portal ([kentbusinessportal.org.uk](https://www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk/)).
