This requirement is for the provision of fuel cards and associated services for drivers and card holders for official business purposes only. As of February 2024, 1897 vehicles are owned and leased across MoJ, HMPPS and NPS and would access this requirement. A fuel card payment solution must: Offer a convenient geographical coverage. Simple and secure method of payment for the purchase of fuel and associated services. Allow for control and monitoring of fuel purchases via the service provider’s online monitoring system. Achieve savings on fuel purchases, including electric vehicle requirements by paying a discounted price as opposed to the advertised pump price. Offer coverages for electric vehicle charging.
