The organisation is to offer specialist support for people in Monmouthshire with mental health problems, those at risk of developing mental health problems as well as their carers/family. Providing support during people’s recovery and to ensure they have a voice, choice, and control over the lives they lead. The service supports people in a strength–based way to achieve their personal outcomes and what matters to them. The service will operate in line with the Social Services and Wellbeing Act (Wales) 2014. The service complements the social care strategic aspirations of the Council and helps prevent people’s mental health from deteriorating and requiring statutory service input.
