This Contract will provide the Purchasers with a mechanism to make gritting decisions throughout the winter season. In turn, this allows the Purchasers to discharge their duties under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 and is considered an essential service that must be provided. The Bureau Services providers gathers data using loggers, then transfers info to Forecaster and Forecaster returns forecast to the Bureau Services provider.
