The provider will deliver a comprehensive programme of high quality services and opportunities for children and young people aged 10-19 years old (or up to 25 years old if a young person has a special educational need and/or a disability). The Youth Hub Service provides a space for young people in the borough to access a variety of exciting opportunities and to support their successful transition to independence and adulthood. The Youth Hub Service provides a space to enable children and young people to have fun, challenge themselves and each other and learn and grow, through structured and open access informal learning opportunities. The Youth Hub Service complements the wider Young Hackney Service, forming part of a network of Youth Hubs enhancing the range of positive engagement activities that support the development of young people's personal, social and emotional capabilities, agency and decision making skills. It is intended that the contract will run for 3 years, with an option to extend for up to two further years, commencing from 1st October 2024.
