Aiming to deliver sustainable infrastructure provision and an economically and environmentally advantageous outcome for Wales as a whole. A contract will be procured for the Design, Development and Installation of Technology for a treatment/recycling solution for separately collected AHP waste from 17 Participating Authorities across Wales. The Contractor will also be required to provide ongoing technical and other support services. The current Participating Authorities are: - Isle of Anglesey County Council - Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council - Bridgend County Borough Council - Cardiff Council - Carmarthenshire County Council - Ceredigion County Council - Conwy County Borough Council - Denbighshire County Council - Flintshire County Council - Gwynedd Council - Monmouthshire County Council - Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council - Newport City Council - Pembrokeshire County Council - Powys County Council - Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council - City and County of Swansea Council One or more of the five Welsh local authorities, listed below, may join the Project in the future: - Caerphilly County Borough Council - Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council - Torfaen County Borough Council - Vale of Glamorgan Council - Wrexham County Borough Council Once installed, the facilities will be operated and maintained by Public Sector Organisations, with ongoing operational and maintenance support to be provided by the Design / Technology Contractor for a prescribed period.
