The data will provide independent verification of the inventory. The contractor will monitor, at a minimum, the gases listed in the UNFCCC guidelines for reporting under the Paris Agreement, and in addition, CFCs and hydrogen. They will use the data to infer Northern Hemisphere background concentrations and UK emissions; geographical distributions; and where possible, disaggregation of emissions by source sector. The supplier will implement an iterative, continuous programme of improvements, and will work towards annual UK emissions estimates for hydrogen. The contractor will compare trends in the data to what is reported in the UK inventory and use the data to identify areas for improvement in the inventory. ## CPV classification Research services Climatology services Pollution tracking and monitoring and rehabilitation Carbon dioxide monitoring services Source Find a Tender (UK) · Notice ocds-h6vhtk-02e41c-2024-07-09T11:04:14+01:00 [View official notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/ocds-h6vhtk-02e41c-2024-07-09T11:04:14+01:00) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
