The Service will form an integral part of local healthy weight strategies and will focus on weight management or lifestyle Services (Tier 2) for children and young people (CYP) and their families. The Sservice will also look to promote and compliment where appropriate current universal prevention (Tier 1). The funding available for the delivery of this Sservice is £150,000 per year, subject to the availability and the amount of the Public Health Grant being confirmed each year.
