New compressors will be required in some locations. Asset Health refers to the replacement, refurbishment and decommissioning of above and below ground mechanical and civil assets and associated electrical works. NGT are currently exploring a strategy to optimise investment five priority sites and a significant amount of investment required across the 28 compressor units on the UK network that will become non-compliant with MCPD legislation by 2030 (Medium Combustion Plant Directive).
