The Provider will: Lead and coordinate the Feeding Derbyshire and Affordable Food Networks and associated activities including but not limited to delivering an extensive programme of support to new and existing community food pantries. Engage with key stakeholders including, but not limited to: Food banks, community pantries, community cafes, breakfast clubs, CVSs (Community Voluntary Support), Citizens Advice Offices, Age UK, FareShare, HIS Church, district and borough councils, the County Council, Locality health partnerships, Financial Inclusion Groups. Deliver professional services, co-ordination and provide strategic support to the Council’s food insecurity programme for the Derbyshire population. There will be a six-month mobilisation period from 01 October 2023 to 31 March 2024.
