One aspect of these plans includes the installation of two new 66,000 Volt (66kV) feeder cables within the Redcar site to allow for land clearance of an area through which the current 66kV cables are routed. For the purpose of this document, the name Teesworks will be used as a reference for the site and its personnel. To support this aim STDC is looking for a suitable contractor to undertake a turnkey project for the engineering design, procurement, construction, testing commissioning and management of all aspects involved for the installation of the feeder cables. This will include the required civils works in addition to the work associated with cable installation and connection.
