This catch-up service is required due to the backlog of residents not invited for an NHS Health Check during the Covid-19 Pandemic. NHS Health Checks are currently provided in Hampshire and the IOW through general practice, however not all practices are able to restart the programme and/or deliver catch-up of those outstanding over the pandemic period. The provider of this service will therefore work closely with general practices who have opted-in to support NHS Health Check delivery in this way. We anticipate this service could be provided by a variety of organisations including GP federations, other healthcare organisations, leisure providers or others.
