The overall aim of the Service is to safely prevent children and young people entering statutory care. Support is to be via a range of interventions, to include provision of evening and weekend short stays for children to provide respite; emotional and practical support; and other assistance.The initial contract term will be for 36 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months (2 periods of 12 months) for a potential total contract term of 5 years as stated in the ITT documents.
