The service provides one-to-one befriending/social support and activity-based group support with the aim of supporting people to engage with their local communities. The service is accessible to adults aged between 18 and 65, residing in North Ayrshire, who have a recognised or diagnosed mental health problem. The anticipated start date is 1st April 2023 until 31st March 2025 with the option to extend by up to 24 months until 31st March 2027. Extensions will be at the sole discretion of NAC and subject to satisfactory performance and funding. The budget for this contract is 80,000 GPB per annum / 320,000 GPB over the maximum 4 year contract duration.
