It will also allow potential suppliers to engage and provide innovative ideas. The South Sudan Education Programme is the successor to phase one and two of the Girls Education South Sudan (GESS) programme, which has been running since 2012. The anticipated budget is up to £90 million, and we anticipate a continuation of the current multi donor model. The programme seeks to support the provision of essential education services, particularly to girls and children living with disabilities, and enhance the linkages with other UK and wider sector efforts to improve education access and quality.
