The University requires competent contractors to carry out annual fire door inspections to all fire doors across the estate, in all properties. Approximately 15,000 fire doors are to be inspected and reported on in accordance with the Fire Door Maintenance Checklist. It is the University's intention to appoint three suppliers to the framework agreement, each company will receive orders to inspect a minimum of 4,000 doors each year.
