The contract will start on 1st February 2023 and will run as a Personal Dental Services (PDS) Agreement for the period of 18 months (initial period). Commissioners have the option to extend up to an additional 12 months thus making a possible maximum agreement of 30 months. The Unscheduled Dental Services will encompass emergency and urgent dental problems that may present within or outside routine working hours. The successful provider will deliver an unscheduled dental care service and provide assessment and treatment for patients with a variety of non-life-threatening dental conditions.
